If your home vegetable garden or allotment is that bit too big to manage with a spade alone then a powerful front-tine tiller like this one from Rally will prove a fantastic investment. Its high-performance Briggs & Stratton engine powers a series of four 30cm-diameter tines that will turn over and break-up soil either for planting; or for aeration and weeding purposes. The tines have a maximum working-width of 60.5cm which can be reduced if you need to work between rows of tightly spaced plants (the digging-depth is also adjustable). The Rally FYX850 Tiller/Garden Cultivator features a reverse-gear in addition to the usual forward-gear so it?s particularly easy to control and manoeuvre. Transport-wheels mounted to the rear of the machine make it simple to shift the tiller from place to place.
