Capable of tackling everything from lawn-edging through to the thinning of well established scrub this impressive professional-use brushcutter from Stihl is a true all-rounder (a metal brush-blade and an Auto-Cut line-head are both included). A class-leading machine the Stihl FS100 employs a high-powered 31.4cc engine that develops a beefy 1.4hp. The engine utilises Stihl?s 4-Mix mixed-lubrication technology whereby the best bits of four- and two-stroke power are combined. The resulting motor offers a cut of 80% in exhaust emissions; more power and torque; and low-noise operation. The incorporation of an automatic decompression system allows for almost effort-free pull-starts. The Stihl FS100 Powerful Brushcutter has been equipped with an adjustable bike- (or ?cowhorn?) handle; a high specification feature that facilitates a smooth and controlled side-to-side sweeping motion. Other comfort features on this model include a padded shoulder-harness for long fatigue-free sessions; and comprehensive vibration-damping which serves to protect the user?s hands and arms from the blood-vessel damage that can occur when regularly using power tools. It weighs just 5.8kg. Heavy-duty metal blade and an Auto-Cut grass-trimming head are both included.
