With its massive 66 centimetre cutting deck and extremely heavy-duty construction the Toro 22203TE Heavy Duty Hi-Vac Aluminium Deck Lawn Mower is designed for use by professionals and for serious commercial jobs. The deck is made from die-cast aluminium and at 6mm is the thickest in the industry withstanding knocks bangs and the daily rigour of commercial work. The deck at 66cm will still fit through narrow gates but its generous coverage will make a big difference when cutting on very large lawns grounds or community green spaces. A dedicated rear discharge lawn mower this model is fitted with a commercial grade Kawasaki 4-stroke engine ultra-reliable and precision engineered the 179cc FJ180V has an overhead valve and produces 3.4kw of power that provides power to the cutting deck as well as the rear wheel drive. A long-range high capacity fuel tank which holds up to 3.8 litres ensures a long working period before having to re-fuel. There is also a replaceable oil filter for ease and efficiency. A variable three-speed gearbox enables you to mow at speeds of 2 3 and 3.8 miles per hour. The gear-box again is heavy duty and extremely durable. The size of the rear discharge aperture is enlarged to ensure a large volume of grass clippings. The hi-vac chamber ensures great collection of those clippings as the spinning blade combines with the shape of the chamber to create a strong air current. This flow of air carries the grass clippings blades effectively into the rear mounted grass collector with its huge 90.1 litre capacity ensuring a long working session before emptying is necessary. The blade hub is fitted with an anti-scalp cup which protects the turf from becoming damaged when cutting close over uneven terrain. Cutting height adjustment is carried out by means of a very sturdy lever for durability and ease of use and cutting heights available vary from 25 up to 100 millimetres. A belt-driven blade spindle protects the crankshaft from damage that may occur from impacts with the blade. This mower is fitted with a BBC a Blade Brake Clutch for safety and convenience. This halts the blades whilst keeping the engine running. This saves wear and tear on the starting mechanism and engine as you will have to re-start the engine a lot less. It also saves the operator time and effort and ensures a more efficient job throughout. Semi-pneumatic radial style tyres ensure a smooth and steady run while the robust steel wheels are ball-bearing fitted for longer working life and very smooth action.
