Westwood have been designing and building lawn tractors in the UK for the past 35-years and during that time they?ve amassed a wealth of know-how to rival any garden-machinery manufacturer on the planet. The T1800H benefits from that accumulated knowledge offering unrivalled build-quality superb performance and a raft of very high-specification features. The Westwood T1800H is fitted with a Kawasaki FS541V engine; a top-of-the-range 603cc twin-cylinder unit which will prove ultra-reliable; exceptionally fuel-efficient; and quiet in operation. A double-skinned bonnet further reduces engine noise. Supplied with a generously-sized 112cm three-blade Combi cutting-deck the T1800H is both mulch- and rear-discharge capable. An alternative 92cm high-grass mulching-deck is also available. With this fitted you?ll be able to clear areas of nettles and bramble that would be too large to tackle with your handheld brushcutter. Ostensibly a mulching / rear-discharge machine the Westwood T1800H Garden Tractor can also be used with a Powered Grass-Collector (optional). The PGC employs a brush-system to sweep clippings into the massive 300-litre so there?s no risk of clogging when working with damp grass. There?s also a heavy-duty steel-roller on the PGC so you?ll be able to achieve that classic British stripe. Emptying is manual but electric bag-lift/emptying is available upon request. Featuring an infinitely-variable hydrostatic-drive which is controlled using a pair of foot-pedals (forward / reverse) the Westwood T1800H can be driven smoothly and intuitively. The ground-speed and other performance indicators are displayed on a dashboard readout. A ten-position height-of-cut provides flexibility-of-use; allowing you to deal with different grass-types and making it possible to fine-tune your finish. The deck is raised and lowered using a lever that?s situated just to hand. Electric push-button deck-lift is available but should be pre-specified. Equipped with a PTO this highly-versatile machine can be used with any of Westwood?s huge range of powered attachments turning it into a year-round workhorse. Tractor-mounted and towed accessories are also available. Other premium features include a stainless-steel bullbar which protects the tractor?s front underside from impact-damage; and an ergonomically-designed seat which can be adjusted for maximum operator-comfort. There?s also a parking-brake for enhanced user-safety.
