The Westwood T25-4WD only serves to bolster that reputation combining unbeatable build-quality with exceptional cutting-performance; unrivalled versatility; and manifold high-specification features. What really makes this top-of-the-range model stand out from the crowd is its ?go anywhere? capability which is achieved thanks to its innovative 4TRAC transmission. This advanced four-wheel-drive system senses when an individual wheel loses grip and applies added traction to compensate in turn ensuring steep tussocky slopes and areas of wet or even boggy ground can be easily and safely traversed. Dynamic traction control adjusts the speed of all four wheels independently so as to avoid scuffing and sliding during sharp turns; while a set of chevron tyres (optional) can be fitted if conditions are particularly extreme. The T25-4WD is driven by a seriously powerful 726cc Kawasaki twin-cylinder engine which will far out-perform a single-cylinder unit when it comes to fuel-economy reliability and noise levels. A double-skin hood further lessens engine noise. Despite its size and heavy-duty construction the Westwood T25-4WD Garden Tractor is nimble and agile with its lightweight intuitive steering and infinitely-variable hydrostatic drive working to maximise manoeuvrability. The ground-speed is controlled using twin foot-pedals the first for forward; the second for reverse. Another stand-out feature on the T25-4WD is its Operating Performance Indicator whereby performance information (ground-speed fuel economy etc) is presented on a dash-mounted LED-display. Fitted as standard with a 112cm rear-discharge / mulching cutter-deck the Westwood T25-4WD is just as effective a mower on formal lawns as it is on paddocks pasture and other rough-grass areas. Available separately Westwood?s Powered Grass-Collector (PGC) has an impressive 300-litre capacity and is fitted with a series of brushes that sweep-up debris so avoiding clumping and blockages when mowing in damp conditions. The PGC also features a weighty steel roller for that traditional striped effect. Offering a wide-ranging height-of-cut (12 ? 101mm) with ten separate positions the Westwood T25-4WD can be set up to perform effectively no matter what grass-type you?re working with. It?s controlled using a manual lever with electric lift being optional. User-comfort is an important factor when undertaking the sort of large-scale jobs for which this model has been designed so Westwood have fitted it with an ergonomically advanced driver?s seat which is adjustable for leg-room. Other noteworthy features include a parking-brake for peace-of-mind when leaving the tractor unattended; and electronic slope-alert which warns you if the incline you?re on is dangerously steep. A rugged steel bumper protects the tractor?s front underside from accidental impact. If you have large areas of tall nettles dense weeds and other invasive vegetation to clear you may wish to consider purchasing the optional 92cm High-Grass Mulching Deck. A PTO facilitates use with Westwood?s huge range of power-driven accessories (towed and tractor-mounted tools are also available).
