Festuca Glauca

A popular evergreen grass, Festuca glauca forms neat cushions of needle-like, silver-blue leaves. In midsummer these are topped by short, blue-green flower spikes which fade to a pale straw colour as they mature. Fantastic for adding colour and texture to contemporary gardens, foliage gardens and patio containers, Blue Fescue is also tolerant of coastal conditions, dry sunny borders and rock gardens thanks to its Mediterranean origins. Robust and low maintenance, Festuca glauca is an easy plant for all-year-round interest in the garden. Height and spread: 30cm (12).
