At the start of its season, the leaves of this shrub are coloured a dark, rich orange. They then turn deep yellow before reverting to orange hues as summer turns into autumn. Spiraea japonica 'Double Play Big Bang' provides large, bold pink flowers and forms a tidy habit, making it perfect for the front of borders or containers.
