Aquilegia Chrysantha 'Yellow Star'

Aquilegia chrysantha 'Yellow Star', as its name suggests, is loved for its unusual yellow blooms which appear atop slender yet strong stems in spring and early summer. Granny's Bonnet is a much-loved herbaceous perennial which gradually spreads and naturalises. It is a great plant to complement cottage garden settings and is loved by beneficial garden insects. The yellow flowers are unusual in the Columbine family and they look wonderful in a vase too. Use this beautiful Aquilegia in the borders and even on the woodland edge. It gives a show that everyone will appreciate. Height: 75cm (30). Spread: 30cm (12).
