Weigela Florida 'Korea'

Compared to other varieties of Weigela, Weigela florida 'Korea' is a giant, reaching a height of 3 metres when fully mature. This makes it an ideal deciduous shrub to be planted as a stand alone specimen on a large lawn, or in a wide border of a medium or large garden. Planted in a line it also makes a fantastic flowering, informal hedge. Like all Weigelas that originate from eastern Asia, Weigela florida 'Korea' has the dstinct tubular flowers. This variety has rose-pink blooms that fill the shrub in spring and early summer and the green foliage has serate edges. Grows best in a full sun position. Height: 3m (10'). Spread: 4m (12').
