Poppy 'Pacino'

Poppies come in all styles from the bold as brass types to the shy, delicate looking varieties like this perennial Japanese poppy 'Pacino'. The flowers are lemon yellow with an open cup shape that encourages bees and other nectar loving insects to the garden during the flowering months of June, July and August. The flowers are atop short upright stems flanked by low mounds of blue-green foliage. Although the plant itself is short lived it will seed its surroundings so that you'll always have an abundance of new blooms each year. Height and spread: 20cm (8).
