Forsythia x intermedia 'Week-End' is a popular deciduous shrub, smothered in bright yellow, bell-shaped flowers from early March. When the flowers fade, this variety happily forms part of a hedge, or shrub border. It can also be used to brighten up patio containers ? it isn't truly spring until the Forsythia is in bloom!
