For a long lasting display the gaillardia 'Burgundy' are a perfect choice, with their wine red colour flowers blooming right through the summer and well into autumn. These beautiful large, burgundy blooms are loved by pollinating insects and are versatile enough for beds, borders and patio containers. With the ability to thrive in light, sandy soil, and able to tolerate drought and costal positions these hardy perennials are great blanket flowers, and the large, daisy flowers are ideal for cutting and displaying in the home too.
