Hydrangea macrophylla 'Ab Green Shadow' is a smaller, more compact form of this ever-popular shrub. Its flowers have a wonderfully interesting colour-changing habit, with blooms that appear almost lime green. As they mature and open, a reddish pink tinge begins to infuse the edges of the petals, and eventually the whole flower will take on this deep, rich hue.
