The foliage of Philadelphus 'Dame Blanche' is dark green and unobtrusive and you might not even notice this hardy, deciduous shrub for most of the year. However, you won't be able to ignore the scent that comes from its pure white blooms in early summer. Often described as 'orange blossom', the smell is intoxicating and it fills the air around it - if not the entire garden! Philadelphus 'Dame Blanche' is a compact, dense form of Mock Orange that is easy to care for. It can stand alone; form a specimen or be used in a border. It can even be grown in a large container which will allow you to position it next to your seating area on your patio. Height: 2m (6'7). Spread: 2m (6'7).
