For eye-catching colour in your summer borders or patio containers look no further than the Salvia jamensis 'Hot Lips'. This beautiful, bushy perennial has the most delightful open-mouthed red and white bicolour blooms which when the weather is very hot will erupt into colours of solid red and solid white flowers. Savia microphylla 'Hot Lips' is a perennial, but will appreciate some protection from winter weather especially during cold, wet periods. With a blackcurrant fragrance from the aromatic foliage this charming plant adds bright colour to your cottage garden borders or containers and can be incorporated into bedding schemes too, providing a wonderful vibrant summer display which will continue to the first frosts.
