Hosta 'Wide Brim'

Hostas are loved for their bold foliage that provide interest in very shaded areas of the garden, where other plants would struggle to grow. Hosta 'Wide Brim' is a striking variety, that has variegated foliage with deep green centres and pale creamy-yellow margins. In July, lilac-blue, funneled shaped flowers emerge on tall stems (up to 60cm), above the leaves, which grow in a mounding habit. Plantain Lillies are fine in shade, but like a sheltered position, away from cold dry winds. Height: 45cm (18). Spread: 100cm (39).
