A mound forming shrub whose deciduous foliage starts off rich-green, becoming dark-burgundy in autumn. Bright neon-red flowers appear from May until October, so it's no wonder that Spiraea japonica 'Neon Flash' has been listed on the RHS's Plants for Pollinators.
