Forsythia X Intermedia 'Mikador'

A blaze of colour to welcome in the spring; Forsythia x intermedia 'Mikador' becomes smothered in masses of golden yellow flowers from March to April. Once the flowers finish they are replaced by glossy bright green leaves for summer interest, and eventually take on yellow and burgundy tones in autumn. This upright dwarf shrub is perfect for large patio containers or the front of shrub borders where it pairs beautifully with early spring bulbs such as snowdrops, Crocus and Chionodoxa. Height and spread: 100cm (39).
