May 8th and we have a frost advisory in West Central Illinois. That is unusual but not unheard of. Fortunately most of my things are in containers at this point so have been busy hauling everything inside for the evening.
When is the frost safe date where you are?
Do you ever have frost threats as late as this?

I hope your plants don't suffer from the late frost. Here in the south west of Wales we can have light frosts up to the middle of May, although they are quite uncommon, but it's better to be safe than sorry as they say.
