I have been growing extremely tall plants since the 1990s. This is my 2021 Garden. Garden is 90 feet x 40 feet and is in Hunterdon County, NJ.

I took measurements at the end of the season of some, but not all of the plants.

Giant amaranth – Amaranthus australis
26’1" (assuming male) Circumference 24 1/2"
23’4" male. Circumference 15"
21"8" male. Circumference 22 1/2"

Hybrid amaranth – Giant X A. hybridus
Most likely a cross between Amaranthus australis (giant amaranth) and Amaranthus hybridus (African)

Wow, truly amazing, do you feed them or is your soil just very good?

Early spring I till in several hundred pounds of azomite, alfalfa meal and Espoma Garden Tone. While they are growing I top dress with urea pellets. When I use liquid fertilizer, I use Foxfarm Grow Big.
