Thank you all for your advice regarding my japonica and honeysuckle.
How do you make quince jelly? The fruit is very hard.

Hi Useless - not a name I'd have used by the way. Here is a site with a good recipe for quince jelly

I do have a recipe in one of my cookery book but it is easier to give the one above than retype the info.
By the way an old pair of tights with the legs cut off and knotted together works well as a strainer with the added advantage you can tip the pulp into the compost and bin the old tights at the end rather than trying to wash.
