Moss pole maintenance

I am the proud owner of a Cheeseplant called Lizzy, when she came to me she was in a very poor state but I have nursed her back to health and she is now six foot tall.
In order to support her I have had to make a moss pole as I could not find one to buy ready made, I achieved this by attaching spag moss to a wooden sapling support, then tying lizzy to said pole.
She seems to be loving this as she has sprouted two new leaves and four babies at her base, the watering is a pain however as it has the be dribbled over the top of the pole so it filters down through the moss allowing the aerial roots to drink from the moisture.
I am looking at different ways to keep the pole constantly moist and once I have found a way to do this effectively, I will post it in here.
I am open to suggestions and ideas if any are forthcoming

Good luck with Lizzy. She'll grow into a lovely specimen with your TLC :)
