Does anyone know if you can eat the fruit of the Musa Basjoo plant. I thought it did not bear fruit. I got that wrong! Our plant has about 3 tiny hands of green bananas, will the flower stem die after the flower has finished. I wonder if it is flowering because we live on the south coast or do other people have fruit.

Hello Hywel, our soil is good old Sussex clay and our orginal plant has had a least seven babies, so I guess they will go just about anywhere
