I assume you've not got the Rosemary Beetle on yourLavender! I don't know if they've come that far up yet! I keep removing them and then, next day, finding more!

Beautiful Bonkers. Can just imagine myself sitting there with a nice glass of whisky, smelling the lavender and listening to the hum of the bees.

Bonkers. You just have to go and spoil everything. We should save ourselves for those women as there are loads of them out there just spoiling for a fight.

No problem at all Bonkers. If the well is that pure I might even have some of the water in my whisky.

Fantastic looking border guys.
Ali is growing some from seed as we speak and I think it's doing well. Will take some pics soon and chart it's progression. She'd be chuffed if it was a quarter as good as yours!

Hi Ray, I want to get some lavender into my garden but I'm confused by all the different varieties. I just want English Lavender - any idea what latin name it goes by? Thanx
4 Nov, 2009
Hi Dawn Latin name is Lavendula but probably better to look for them by variety. The 2 most popular of English lavender are Munstead and Hidcote .. the one in the pic is Munstead.
