Glad I'm not the only one, Louise, lol. Of course, according to all the designers we should have replaced this with Cirsium Rivulare by now.

Really ?
I 'do' actually have a couple somewhere ..... can't remember seeing them though :-/
16 May, 2010
I hope they're not 'casualties', Louise.

Looked at the knautia Arvensis Wagger, don't know if its same as mine or not can't decide, mine is exactly the same as knautia macedonica but lilacy pink, did find there is a knautia macedonica pink, one scabious flower looks pretty similar to another, spent ages flicking from one picture to another and still no wiser, lol.

Could be a 'Melton Pastel' then.

How come my Knautia is tall, then? Mine is K. macedonica...I didn't know there were sprawling ones as well.
Ummm...Wagger...I planted Cirsium rivulare this year - I didn't know I was supposed to! LOL.
19 May, 2010
Mine sprawls all over the place - escapes any supports I put in for it and lolls, lol.
19 May, 2010
I've found them ... well, 'one' actually :-/
It's doing okay but clearly the other one's disappeared :-/
19 May, 2010
Tell it to stand up straight, Wagger!!! Speak severely...
Glad you found one, Louise. :-))) I hope the other one turns up as well!

20 May, 2010
Sorry I didn't make it - I forgot the torch and got lost on the way to the gate. I've been wandering around the garden trying to find the way out ALL night! :-((((
