mad keen 61 year old gardener,I live in northants,love growing things that are a bit odd,
my soil is heavy clay that I have been fighting for 18 years,but with adding tons of manure and compost it is now becoming good to work with,this is going to be my first year that I intend to grow fruit and veg including fruit trees,my garden is not very big, but behind my back hedge is an embankment that is waste land, so last year i planted some spuds just to see what came up,I had a bumper crop,so I will take a chance and use more of the land to plant 4 fruit trees,
