Nice weekend

Did a spot of Fishing and talked to a Farmer who called his Donkey “wonky” but when i inquired why the name he said its only got three legs and he got the name out of the papers. Yep a wonky donkey i could,not stop laughing. Great fishing results though 23 perch and 2 little eels. Wild life was marvelous the birds were in fine tune . Got a Lamb stood at my side for several minuets but he was very docile until i said " how many chops will you make" slowly he moved away and i started to catch fish. We got a packed lunch from the Hotel (about 200 yards away) and my good lady and her friend went back for a 3 course lunch at the hotel. Trevor(my friend) and i got the feeling we were going through a raw deal at that point(LoL). Nice to be surrounded by nature though. Oh no! Another one to add to the menagerie! Wonky Donkey! Did it really only have three legs? Maybe the farmer was pulling your leg...maybe that's where the donkey's missing leg went?! ;0)
That was a successful day fishing, do you keep them all or do you throw them back? It's as well the wee lamb ran away or it could have been on the menu tonight as surf and turf! It's sounds as though you had a grand weekend Tony, I hope the weather was kind to you and your good lady, it's good to have you home!

hi Grannyb Good heavens no i try to place them back the end of day. My good lady would hit me on the head if i hurt them. Some times they give me an odd look but i like to think its a smile (LoL). Take care enjoy . Tony

Hi Elizabeth Yes its great to be back and of course to contact " the second exclusive member of the jack sparrow foundation i be saying that as i be one and ye be tuther me hearty". Yes Elizabeth he was having us on but wasnt it comical?. I Love humour and this chap was exceptionally good . He told us the best fishing spots. No Elizabeth we always put the fish back into the stream or lake, i feel they have had enough for one day being caught poor devils. Larry the Lamb was genuine though but i think he realized coming to me was a baaaaaaaaad move(LoL). Any way enough about me, what have you been up to?. Not blogging really is not good enough Elizabeth I and members are holding our breath and if we keep it up you will be the only Goy member left (LoL). Tiny and i await your decision. Turbo is,not here and Lucy is asleep. Take care elizabeth please do not keep us in suspense. Tony
