Natures little joke

I take it back on yesterdays assumption that we were fortunate with very little snow. This morning i opened the curtains and couldn’t see the little patio fence (6 ins high) because of it. Birds were all out of site and the sky was grey and dark. Think a lot more to come. I don,t think Tiny understood the lack of birds as he perched on the window sill but we dropped a spoon of vitamin seed in his cage pot and that helped him cope. i tried an Irish jig for him on the lounge carpet but like my good lady i don,t think either were impressed. Was going to sing but decided i was lucky to get away with the blooming jig. Good lady considering a playmate for Tiny i suggested an Eagle that also did,nt earn me any brownie points but it got Tiny to open up with his banter. All in all the day went very well though and i decided no more jigs. And my good lady also decided no blinking Eagle (LoL). Take care Tony

Have you been on the vitamin seed as well Tony?? I`m so pleased I only have to go as far as the bins, we have freezing fog today, its very crunchy underfoot and my birds are all huddled in the hedgerow and trees, my dogs came in and did a similar jig in the kitchen, think they had hotaches in their paws, now they are as near to the fire as they can get.

You doing an Irish jig, Tony! Now that I would love to see and I think, so would our Elizabeth! Singing! Well if its anything like mine....I could crack glass with the high notes! Hahaa!
Our snow has nearly all gone , I'm pleased to say and is supposed to be getting a bit milder here.

Hi Lincslass Yes it goes to proof that dog are much more wiser than us. They have the right idea how to keep warm where as i was putting salt down outside in freezing weather. It was very wuf, wuf. Take care Tony

Hi Rose I learnt the jig to avoid the holes Elizabeth made in my blinkin floorboards. Honestley no one wants to hear my singing. I beleive when i first uttered a note several people were classed as missing. I had one fan and thats only because i top his seed pot up each morning (LoL). Take care Tony

Ha ha. We all need lots of laughs. The Irish Jig was a good idea to warm up the system. Dancing around the house for 15 minutes twice daily to music has the same effect.
Puzzles my cat a bit, not used to it. Makes me wonder what animals really think of music ?
