Milky is it in a pot then? Donnah no the big one delivered by courier was £12.00 the 2 small ones came to £7.00 with postage, all these were from ebay!! as it is the end of the season the price reflected that.
Spritz thanks we are going to need some luck....just keeping them over the winter will be a challenge!!
Mookins they can be grown in the South, all these are hardy ones.

There bootiful as we as in Norfolk. I have to say i have been really impressed with the red banana this year its grown fantastically well .
I have spent the weekend potting up my tender plants from the garden so when it does get to cold in they come.
When i was in Jamaica earlier this year we went a banana plantation and learned loads about them ..... Did you know they make stocking's from the stem and fishing line!!
But interestingly they say if you cut it down you get a lot of
new ones coming out of the base .
Don't know how true it is but i may just get one to try next year .....
PS Morrison s are selling banana's for £4.99 this week if any one want's a small one ...How's the rest of the jungle looking Dotty???.......Mushy

Mushy thanks for that, we have them all potted up and they are growing new leaves, would not like to cut these down, would be frightened they might not survive, if they grow this fast what will they be like by Christmas? lol
