Silence in a Garden

Silence in a garden doesn’t mean to hear ‘no sound’
Silence in a garden ….means humans… that bow down
To lovely sounds of nature, birds and bees and heavenly breeze
Gently flowing through the standing people, we call “trees”
Silence in the garden helps us feel the truest light
Streaming down upon us in the morning, noon and night
Silence in the garden keeps perspective for our day
And sends us special fragrance and a place to go and pray
Silence in the garden draws us near to precious earth
Given to us fully to nurture and rehearse the time that we will leave this place….our earth’s journey is upon us
Silence in the garden is a lesson and a promise.
A tribute to nature and gardeners all over the world!
