I have typical 'long and narrow' (90' x 23') suburban garden in south London. Friend ( who is a garden designer) helped to design it 12 years ago but over time and as a result of a) my inability to resist plants b) inexplicable loss of 3 trees and c) extension of house, the original design and planting has evolved and changed. I enjoy planning and planting but am less successful at weeding and pruning!
Just built a small raised bed for growing vegetables... new venture for me and will begin planting in spring!
