I have a an adequate sized veggie patch so that I can grow fruit and veg for me and my family to encourage my children to eat more healthily - that's the plan anyway! I live surrounded by fields - my nearest neighbour is a good half a mile away. I've given up growing flowers as the rabbits just eat them, so my veggie patch is like Fort Knox. However, wood pigeons are a real pain - eating my brassicas.
