In May, Tony and Marie Newton will be opening their award-winning ‘Four Seasons’ garden to the public. Visitors will be treated to an array of colour from azaleas, acers and conifers.

In January 2015 we were featured in ITV Britain’s Best Back Gardens. We were stunned and delighted to see our ‘Four Seasons’ garden awarded first place by Alan Titchmarsh for achieving the impossible: “A show garden, no matter what the weather or season.”

‘Four Seasons’
26 Buchanan Road
Walsall WS4 2EN

Open days:
Sundays 17 and 24 May
Bank Holiday Monday 25 May
10am – 5pm.

Admission £3.50 for adults
Funds raised will be donated to the National Garden Scheme, which supports nursing and caring charities.

Note: there are some steps in the garden.

(When the acer leaves change colour, the garden is also open Saturday and Sunday 24 & 25 October from 10am – 5pm.)

I hope you get hundreds of visitors, and you probably will...
I wish we had visited when we lived in the Midlands (Kinver) we now live on the Solent, and open our humble garden for the NGS...
Love your photographs especially the stream, would love to create this in our garden, your garden has to be seen to be believed, the colours are stunning, so much hard work has gone in to this garden to achieve this kind of result, congratulations on having the most amazing garden ever.....

Thanks for your kind words. We still can't really believe what we've achieved! It gives us so much pleasure - and, it seems, many visitors really enjoy it too! Some are coming for their eighth time!

Well that says it all........

On Sunday 17 May we welcomed 281 visitors! We had several groups of foreign visitors: China, Vietnam, Romania. They had found us on the Internet!

We did enjoy talking with all our visitors - it is humbling to realise what distances some had travelled to come to our West Midlands garden - some came from as far away as North Yorkshire!

We were fortunate with the weather - it stayed dry, though cool with a fresh breeze. Fingers crossed for 24 and 25 May!

Hello, Mary and Tony! I'm Chen Xi from China. It's my pleasure to meet you. Maybe you haven't kown that your garden is now very popular in China. As China's gardening is just about to set sail, it would be so great that we can get some advice from you. I'm planning to hold a Chinese Gardener's Compitition, so would you please give us your blessing and recognition. Thank you and best wishes!
