Grasses part 2

finished both sides of the top garden (grasses & ferns etc). Lots of digging to break up the heavy clay, lots of compost gone in too. Back breaking really but it will be worth it. Divided some more grasses that were quite big & planted my Astilbes & hostas from the polyhouse; put some gravel around them to keep the slugs away.
Will post a photo 2moro as the light wasn’t great by the time i finished so didn’t take any.
Gonna have a sit down & a cup of tea now!
Weather permitting I am planting up my brand new cutting border at the front tomorrow, can’t wait!

I'm looking forward to seeing photos of your grasses for inspiration Poppy. I don't have one single grass in my garden. Last year I planted a Purple Fountain Grass in a planter and loved it. It only works as an annual here. I would really like to start adding some in my beds
as there are quite a few that would survive our winters here.
