Just a short note to thank everyone who responded to my photos and welcomed me as a new member to GOY. What lovely people you are, but it comes as no surprise. People who love to grow and nurture plants and, in many cases also have pets, are usually sincere and have a much more relaxed outlook on life. I’m glad you enjoyed the photos and look forward to enjoying yours too. I would be happy to correspond with anyone who may be interested in coming to live in Cyprus, as I have a wealth of information on all manner of subject relating to living here. Just drop me a line!

Glad you felt welcomed. I find everyone on this site is so friendly and encouraging. We have hot dry summers in Hungary, so I shall be very interested to see what does well in your garden. I need to know plants that do well in heat, but in my case they need to survive very cold winters as well.
