Presents all wrapped, tree and house decorated, mince pies made (more baking tomorrow, as family coming here Christmas Eve). I’ve just received a Christmas card from a long-lost cousin in Australia – too late to send one back, and anyway I don’t have her address! Just one more thing to do before it all gets too manic ………
……and that is to wish all you GoYers out there, wherever you are, a Very Merry Christmas!
Now I’m off to drink the glass of madeira and eat the mince pies sitting on my hearth in the photo………..

Thanks to you all for your good wishes - just been to the Christingle service at our local church with daughter and no. 2 granddaughter, who was singularly unimpressed! I enjoyed it, because I just love singing carols!
