Amateur gardener and plantaholic without enough garden to grow everything that I would like to! I have been gardening in our current garden for almost 21 years. I garden on very free draining neutral to acid soil in south Hampshire only a couple of miles from the sea ( as the crow flies!). I have a small greenhouse and propagate plants every year from seed and cuttings. I supply a local 'garden open' with plants which allows me to keep on growing and support the yellow book charities.
To extend our plot I have recently taken over a piece of land at right angles to our front garden.This was planted by the local council 21 years ago and then forgotten about!
We hope to move in the next few years to a larger plot. I will be very sad to leave this garden but will take any treasures with me. I would like to grow vegetables and have a larger greenhouse before I'm too old to cope with them.
