I am a bit of a hit-and-miss gardener, it either grows or it doesn't, but I can't tell why. We moved house just before Christmas, so are now discovering what we have inherited in the garden, what is worth keeping and what needs culling. We are struggling with the logistics of drawing up a plan of work for both hard and soft planting, and juggling the needs of somewhere to chill and contemplate the world against somewhere for two Jack Russells to run around and have a morning pee! I am already enjoying the contentment that comes from checking the "estate" and gazing at the wonder of nature.
