Cracking evening (Gromit)!

Wife off in a hurry tonight (banners and vicars) leaving me at the mercy of the girls! So we enjoyed a lovely walk round the Glen and what a pleasure…. everywhere you look fresh flowers in hedgrows, pathways, undergrowth and pretty much everywhere and down in the Glen I’m sure we saw faries amongst all those native bluebells!
There’s some amazing trees down there, roots half gone undermined by the river, large Beech clinging tenaciously to the side of a rock – they always seem impossible but there they are!
If I’d taken the camera on our quick walk (getting back in time for Roger Waters on the radio) we would have had plenty to share but then the light wasn’t so great and I would certainly have missed my programme! Despite this, with only my modest phone this scene jumped out…. quite odd too while everywhere else was bursting with life. Undoubtedly the stunning contrasts are what caught my eye, I hope the vivid silver comes across as well as it did earlier.

It sounds an interesting place. Pitty you didn't take any more photos. Maybe you could go again some day.
