I live in Southern Maryland, approximately 50 miles south of Washington, DC. I guess you could say I am a collector of plants. I have been in my house for about 5 years now and I am experimenting with what plants work best where in the yard. I love to experiment with new plants - either with seeds, plants/cuttings from friends or store bought potted plants. I like to get one plant that I love, see how well it does in my yard. If they do well I like to share them with my friends and family. I tend to be quite eclectic with my gardens ... I don't particularly stick to any one color theme - I just like lots and lots of color, shape and contour. I like my gardens to have really unique and interesting perinneals and in the spring I plant annuals to help enhance them. My favorite flower of all time is the white Nicotiana Alata that I had in my yard years ago and haven't been able to find but would love to get it going again at my new house.
