Some advice during the windy weather

Some advice that may be helpful.
During the strong winds from yesterday evening to this morning, some damage was done to the plants and some pots on their sides spreading their contents all over the floor.
To attempt to combat this I have moved some round the corner sheltered from the wind.
I have used bamboo canes pushed deep in to the soil tied to tall plants like the rose bush in the pictures to help prevent the stalk snapping.
Also, I have pushed bamboo canes deep in to the soil to help restrain the plants against the wall by tying plant wire between 2 canes with the wire restraining the firethorn in the other pictures below.

I like your Pyracantha. It's lovely. I hope it wasn't damaged.

There was some minor damage to my Pyracantha when it fell twice before I managed to get to it.
Sorted out the damage and replaced the compost and Apline Red gravel type stuff that had been scattered during its falls.
