About me
Hi - I garden in Cambridgeshire on very chalky soil - we've been here for about ten years. I suppose the most noteable thing about us is that we make cider from the apples we get from the very old trees we inherited in the garden (hence piccy of hubby, sister-in-law and brother in law last autumn apple crushing). As you can see in the pic, we had some hard landscaping done a couple of years ago and since then have grown an astonishing array of weeds. (If there were a gardening olympics, I'd definitely be in line for the gold medal in weeding). We're intending to put grass seed down once we've got rid of the ground elder (could be a while) and bindweed. Seems like a lifetime's work at this point! Our garden is about 100 feet long with a mixture of veg and flower beds. Takes up most of our spare time, especially at this time of year!
