I'm a novice gardner, learning all the time, making loads of mistakes and getting very frustrated trying to understand why things dont grow or flower when they should. Hope by joining this community of gardners they can help me solve some of my gardening problems.

My garden is pure clay and I have loads of drainage problems which I am trying to work with, but dont really have time or money to totally resolve so digging in as much grit and compost as I can each time I plant. I want to create the best cottage garden I can, totally adore this type of planting scheme.
