Ian Digs - where did you go does anyone know ?

hi Angie, sorry i cant help with the answer to this one. but we do like to keep an eye out for each other here.

i had heard he had been upset by one of the questions/threads that developed about the use of latin names and decided to leave the site.
if this is incorrect i hope some one can enlighten us.
in fact not heard from sarraceniac, moongrower or bulbaholic lately either.
any one shed light there.

Same hear I did get a lot of messages from Ian Not heard anything for a while from him But I have heard from moongrower and bulbaholic. Hopefully he is ok

I was under the impression that he left due to the latin names blog. I don't know quite what happened there. It is such a shame as he is such a nice man. I wish he would come back.
What happened to Grenville too? His account has been deleted or disabled.

I just found an Ian digs on another garden forum and have Pm'd him to see if it is the same Ian_digs.

I was wondering where Ian was aswell.
Moongrower and Bulbaholic are on holiday. I remember reading it in a blog or photo of one or other of them.
People often disappear for some reason. Since I joined GoY several members seem to have come and gone. Sometimes they come back, sometimes not.

i suppose it is all down to the time you can give up. as its summer perhaps being in the garden is what they are doing rather than reading about it.

Is this why Mims2 account has been deleted/disabled too? She was one of my favourites.

I have made contact with Ian and passed along good wishes. He misses the good fun and chats.

If you're in contact with him again Gilli could you maybe ask him if he'll come back to GOY. I think everybody misses him.

I have asked him Hywel and he has emailed Peter and Ajay to ask if he can come back. Does he need permission???
He is a bit embarressed about his "temper tantrum" as he calls it, and feels that members may not be so welcoming. I told him not to be silly and to rejoin.

And I have taken your advice !!!
