Annatweald's Profile

I moved from Kent to the Rhone Alps region of France 9 years ago. Beautiful region but very difficult for gardening. Summers very hot 30 + degrees and winter can be down to -16 degrees with snow.
Have a traditional herbaceous border (trouble with Lupins) , peach, apricot, apple, pear and cherry trees. Also quite a large vegetable garden. Lawn full of weeds because seeds blow down from the Juras and Alps (we are in a valley about 20 minutes from Geneva).
