Easiest way to scarify dogwood seeds? & Best time to plant?
I came across a packet of white dogwood seeds recently, & would like to plant at least one or 2. Does anyone know the best way to scarify the seeds, what the best soil/spot for them in a yard would be, & best time of the year to plant/scarify? Fyi I am a green horn when it comes to this, so easiest methods are the most welcome! Thank You.

I think you mean stratify the seeds... Not sure about your climate there, but you may be a little late in sowing from seed. Some info in the link below as to how to do it, but they seem to be assuming you've collected your own seed. If you bought the seed, I'd follow the instructions anyway, ignoring the part about collecting them

When grown on and ready to plant out, needs well drained soil in partial shade or in sun.
