I love Gardening and wildlife. I am an ornithologist and a mother of 6. All my children also love gardening and 2 of my sons studied Horticulture at University.
I have been entering gardening competitions in the Welsh Valleys for near on 17 years now my favorite is Blaenau Gwent In Bloom.
The highlight of my gardening career was when I won silver in the giant parsnip category in 1995 - i got pipped to the post by old John Griggs from up the road.
My favorite flowers are Tulips which is what my late husband Arthur gave me when we were first courting.
