Billie's Profile

I am a gardener on a large country estate in Ayrshire, Scotland. The gardens are well known locally for the different rhododendrons and azaleas but there are many other shrubs and plants. We also have a walled garden which at the moment is just grass but we plan to start an orchard, grow veg, flowers, etc., try to get it back someway to it's original condition.
I've worked on the estate for three years but before that my gardening experience was pretty basic, but the owners were willing to give me a chance and it's worked out very well, I love it and am learning something new all the time.
