just come back from altmnt everythng looking good just found on flower on my spuds is it to early to have flowers on them advse welcome im growing some under hay thise year looking good so far but all that can chang i got some white powdery stuff all over my salad plants in my tunel anyone no what it is an can i get rid of it but my spinach is looking really good just convinced my daughter to throw out her chest of draws because the runners broke on one draw so geuss i got a new raised bed for my carrots hehehe

try putting 'powdery mildew on salad leaves' into -Google Images- and see if it looks similar and then you know what you're dealing with

I understand that hay or straw can leach nitrogen from the soil as it breaks down so keep an eye on the leaf colour as to the white powder the only idea I have without seeing it is powdery mildew
