Bowman's Profile

l have just got my first allotment (3 rod) in July .and people have been very kind and have given me their surpluss that have taken well.
I am keen to plant what l can eat more than flowers. So-far l have planted 4 grape vines on the existing frame as l am not keen on runner beans. Toms, lettice, beetroot, winter cabage,spinage, all donated except the vine.
l tried peas but the birds got to them before l could net them
